"Nariko knew that fighting Sasuke was something that she could not avoid, but it was something that she did not want to do, either. As she continued to try and break his defenses, she realized that she even with his shinobi powers sealed up, she still wouldn't stand a chance against him and what made it even worse was that it looked like Sasuke wasn\'t even trying. But that wasn't gonna stop her from fighting him to prove that she was his future daughter.

On the other hand, Sasuke smirked defiantly as he watched her attempt to get through to him. He thought it was futile for her to keep trying to fight him. Since the impudent was so determined to prove a point, he would have no choice...but to put her down. Permanently.
