The mint-haired girl struggled forward, pain shooting through her arm despite her makeshift sling. She knew that others needed her assistance but she was starting to worry of the direction the war was going. She curses under her breath, wishing now that her sword hadn't snapped, needing some protection from the dangers around her. The formed army of shinobi were doing their best...each having a part to uphold to help move forward.

Taking a deep breath, she straightens up, rushing forward a bit when she hears screams. She looks up, the hand of the ten tails looming over her. Her mind couldn't register what was happening, her body worn from healing others...

...'this is it' she thought.

Before she could close her eyes, arms swoop under her, the ground shaking as she senses the familiar chakra. She stares at his stoic face, tears welling in her eyes from anger and relief. "Sasuke..."

He had returned.
