Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

REFRESHING MY KH memories and experience
a friend is kind enough to give me spoilers XD
so i kind of know how KH dream drop distance went on (i cant buy the game and the console so i asked lol)
so far it sounds amazing yet.. giving the series another twist made me cringe a bit but it sounds really awesome.
I'll be reading ~Porecomesis's REVIEW on that game since i need to really get to know if the game before i buy it and the console (why the hell do they have to put the next series on another console ?? D

the friend who beat the game already told me spoiler stuff though , made me want to buy the KH3 game if ever they finish it! XD and will pray that they end it there.
my financial situation cant handle it if they were to release another KH game on another console..or phone..or..idk..
