Rumors say that there is a hacker on deviantArt hacking people and blocking our friends to make them block us!
You will then be banned from deviantArt.
Write the same thing in your journal and it's not just to protect yourself but it's to protect everyone!
Here is another warning: If im being a jerk, saying stuff like "Shut up", "Get lost", or "i don't want to see you on my page anymore", that is not really me it's the hacker.

A "hacker" wouldn't waste his time with dA accounts of some random people. It would make sense if the hacker would hack the accounts of amazing artists, especially those who do not put up a download button on their drawings, because once on their accounts they can enable the download full size button then they can use the stolen pics to make merchandise which they will sell in the future.
It's a conspiracy!!!

1) "real" hackers won´t waste time on hacking DA accounts
2) if people are that stupid to give out their password to their friends who then try to log in with it, it is not hacking
3) blocking people will not get you banned no matter how hard you try
4) if, by some wonder, you do get banned you can still contact help desk and tell them you were hacked

Yet, I think this might just be a rumor, given dA does not ban you for blocking people. They'll ban you for continuingly breaking their policies but not for blocking people.
Yet there is one good way to stop a hacker, simply have a good password. Don't just use simple words and numbers, given anyone can use a dictiionary. Try to mingle letters and numbers or replace a letter with a number, say 'o' with 0 (zero) or 'i' with 1.
