As much as I would like Naruto to end, Kishimoto obviously has no such intentions, at least for the near future.
Naruto is ranking as the most popular manga universally, which means money for its creator and the companies revolving around it (making episodes, selling stuff regarding the Naruto universe etc).
Personally, I think that Kishimoto is running out of ideas. It is getting so boring to read the mangas, not to mention how pathetic the anime has become with all the fillers. Seriously, even non-filler episodes are filled with flashbacks! How many times was the scene of the Uchiha clan's massacre thrown in our faces during Sasuke's fight with Itachi? Countless times. I had to skip an entire episode in order to avoid the flashbacks. It's really annoying. And disregarding for the manga itself. But you can't blame them. After all, "money makes the world go 'round" and money is all the animes offer.
it's been like forever already... not that i hate the naruto series, it's just that it's logical that it would end... and we all know all good things come to an end, right... when that day comes, i know it's gotta be sad but satisfying! NARUTO rocks! \m/
I think it'll end soon, even though I don't want it to. I've been following it from the early Chuunin exams as it is.
Personally I think Naruto gains control of Kyuubi, Sasuke attacks Konoha, he and Naruto has this massive fight, then Madara and Kabuto attacks Konoha either resulting in Sasuke siding with Naruto or siding with Madara.
I'm a horrible person for saying this, but considering how the manga has gone so far I wouldn't be surprised if one of the closing scenes is Naruto and Sasuke dealing a fatal wound to each other.
